
The Army has selected American Rheinmetall Vehicles and HDT Expeditionary Systems to build prototypes for its Small Multipurpose Equipment Transport (S-MET) Increment II program, the next iteration of its cargo-carrying ground robots. The two firms received a combined $22 million in deals to each deliver eight S-MET Inc.
