JCO Assesses Industry’s Counter-Drone Swarming Tech In ‘Most Challenging’ Demo To Date

The Army-led office spearheading counter-UAS efforts recently held its “most challenging” industry demonstration to date, with eight vendors showcasing solutions for defeating drone swarms that could be selected for further prototyping next fiscal year. Officials from the Joint Counter-small Unmanned Aircraft Systems Office (JCO) told reporters on Tuesday that industry’s offerings at the demo showed “very good effectiveness” in scenarios that included up to 50 UAS targets “converging on a defended area” at once. “Although I can’t discuss at this…
