DoD: Trump Admin To Have ‘A Few Billion Dollars’ Left In Drawdown Authority For Ukraine

When the Trump administration takes office later this month, it will have “a few billion dollars” remaining in Presidential Drawdown Authority (PDA) to use for Ukraine security assistance packages, according to the Pentagon. Deputy Pentagon Press Secretary Sabrina Singh was asked Wednesday whether DoD was “concerned” if the department under Trump officials would utilize the available PDA to assemble packages of capabilities pulled from current inventories to continue assistance efforts. “Ukraine has bipartisan support within Congress.
