DIU Launches Replicator Effort To Evaluate, Quickly Scale Low-Collateral C-UAS Solutions

The Pentagon’s Defense Innovation Unit has launched a new effort to find new solutions from industry for more safely taking out small drones that it aims to scale rapidly across the joint force as part of the Replicator initiative. DIU said the Low Collateral Defeat (LCD) initiative is being executed in coordination with U.S Northern Command, the Army-led Joint Counter-small Uncrewed Aerial Systems Office (JCO) and the U.K., with plans to award prototype deals then hold evaluations within 60 days.…
