Bush Doesn’t Foresee Three-Month CR Impacting Army’s ‘Lots Of Bets’ On UAS Tech

The Army’s acquisition chief said recently he doesn’t foresee the current three-month continuing resolution having a significant impact on specific projects in the near-term, to include unmanned aircraft system (UAS) efforts, while adding the stopgap funding measure “makes the whole system slower.” Doug Bush, assistant secretary of the Army for acquisition, logistics and technology, offered his outlook on the CR ramification during a discussion detailing the service’s plan to place “lots of bets” on UAS capabilities in the coming years.…
