Welsh, Cornyn Working On Meeting To Resolve Confirmation Vote Hold

Sen. John Cornyn (R-Texas) said yesterday he is trying to schedule a meeting with Air Force chief of staff nominee Gen. Mark Welsh to discuss the hold he placed on the general’s confirmation vote. Cornyn Press Secretary Drew Brandewie couldn’t specify when the meeting would take place. The Air Force did not respond to queries by press time.
