Veritas Capital this week said it has acquired Kroll Government Services, Inc., a provider of security clearance background investigations and employment screening services to U.S. Government agencies.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Kroll Government Services has been renamed KeyPoint Government Solutions, Inc. Kroll Government Services was a unit of Kroll, Inc., a subsidiary of Marsh & McLennan [MMC].
“The acquisition of KeyPoint Government Solutions is consistent with our strategy of investing in strong companies that perform mission critical functions for the U.S. Government,” Robert McKeon, chairman of Veritas Capital, said in a statement. “We welcome KeyPoint, the critical work it does, and its talented management team led by Jeff Schlanger to the Veritas portfolio of companies.”
McKeon said that Veritas is focused on growing KeyPoint organically and through acquisitions.
KeyPoint’s customers include the Office of Personnel Management, the Department of Homeland Security, the Transportation Security Administration, Customs and Border Protection, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Citizenship and Immigration Services, the Department of Justice, the Coast Guard, the Army National Guard, the Los Angeles Police Department and others.
