Ultra Defense Acquires Ammo Manufacturer MAST Technology

Ultra Defense Corp. (UDC) on Thursday said it has acquired MAST Technology, a manufacturer of a military ammunition, giving the company a domestic manufacturing capability. Terms of the deal between the two small companies were not disclosed. UDC, which is based in Florida, said that Warrensburg, Mo.-based MAST has annual sales exceeding $10 million. The two companies combined have about 50 employees. UDC provides defense logistics services, Russian military aircraft and the Northrop Grumman [NOC]-built F-5 fighter trainer, munitions, and…
