The United States Africa Command (USAFRICOM) is seeking commercial Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) solutions to assist with ground station processing and data collection.
The Request for Information (RFI) was posted on Aug. 25 and contractor proposals for commercial off the shelf ISR solutions will be accepted starting September 1.
USAFRICOM is also seeking Processing Exploitation and Dissemination capabilities to assist with imaging collection and analysis.
“The successful contractor shall provide high mission endurance airborne ISR data collection and transmission for eventual ground station processing, exploitation and dissemination within the AFRICOM Area of Responsibility (AOR) on a per flight hour basis,” the General Services Administration wrote in its RFI on behalf of USAFRICOM.
USAFRICOM is responsible for the coordination U.S. military operations for all nations in Africa, and is headquartered in Stuttgart, Germany.
