U.K. Unit Trades Challenger 2 Main Battle Tanks For Jackal Armored Vehicles

The United Kingdom’s Royal Scots Dragoon Guards now mount up in Jackal armored vehicles, produced by SupaCat Ltd., moving to a light cavalry role, leaving BAE Systems’ Challenger 2 main battle tanks behind. The Ministry of Defense (MoD) on Nov. 20 said the move is one of the major steps in the Army 2020 program to form Adaptive and Reactive Forces.  Sixty percent of the regiment is deployed on operations in Afghanistan, and the Rear Operations Group in northern Germany…
