TransDigm Completes $1 Billion Acquisition Of Data Device Corporation

TransDigm Group Inc. [TDG] on Thursday said it has completed its $1 billion cash acquisition of Data Device Corporation (DDC) from the private equity firm Behrman Capital, adding engineered products with substantial aftermarket content.DDC is expected to have $200 million in sales this year with about 75 percent coming from the defense market and the rest mostly from the commercial transport market.
