Tanker Procurement Process To Remain In Hands of Air Force, Gates Says

By Marina Malenic Despite scathing criticism from government auditors of the Air Force's bidding process for an aerial tanker refueling contract, Defense Secretary Robert Gates said yesterday that the Pentagon will not take control of the process from the service.
