State Department Approves $330 Million Deal With Taiwan For Military Aircraft Spare Parts

The State Department has approved a potential $330 million deal to provide Taiwan with spare parts for its military aircraft fleet, including F-16s, C-130s, F-5s and Indigenous Defense Fighters.The Defense Security Cooperation Agency notified Congress of the foreign military sales order (FMSO) II request from Taiwan on September 24.TECRO requested to receive funds to cover costs needed to stock replenishment supply for standard spare parts and repair parts for Taiwan’s aircraft.“The proposed sale of spare and repair parts is required…
