Stapleton Group and Explosive Countermeasures International Inc. (ECI), yesterday said they have established a strategic alliance between the two companies, continuing to build upon a 15 year professional relationship.

This formalizes the business relationship between two innovators in the bomb dog and explosives detection industry and will allow the two organizations to fully leverage their combined capabilities through the convergence of individual sales and marketing and operational and logistical competencies.

This relationship will support the exploration of a wider range of opportunities for each firm and provide considerable competitive advantages in the marketplace, the companies said in a statement.

Stapleton Group Corporate Director Michael Stapleton said: “The marketplace for bomb dogs and explosives detection services is truly global and this alliance of talent and resources will allow us to collectively pursue opportunities wherever they may present themselves. It positions us well to collaboratively gain share of the highly competitive explosive detection business.”

Megan Kelley, CEO of Explosive Countermeasures International Inc., said: “This alliance gives us the ability to compete for a far more diverse spectrum of opportunities over a far broader geographic range.”
