The Department of Homeland Security’s Immigration and Customs Enforcement (DHS-ICE) has awarded SRC a potential $41.9 million contract to establish and maintain a Security Operations Center to help protect critical information technology infrastructure, the company reported.

Under the terms of the contract, SRC will lead a team to provide innovative cybersecurity solutions, process improvement strategies and best-of-breed technologies for ICE, SRC added.

ICE’s primary mission is to protect national security, public safety and the integrity of the U.S. borders through the criminal and civil enforcement of federal laws governing border control, customs, trade and immigration. This contract will enable ICE to monitor its information technology assets 24 hours a day, and evaluate and respond to cyber security threats, SRC said.

“As a leading innovator of cybersecurity solutions, this award highlights our depth of experience and role as a valued partner for DHS. We combine operational and technical cyber experts with game-changing technologies to enable our nation to defend its networks in the cyberspace domain, “Bob Roberts, president/CEO of SRC, said.
