Space Force Awards LeoLabs $14 Million For Space Domain Awareness Radar In Indo-Pacific

The Space Force’s Space Systems Command (SSC) last Friday awarded LeoLabs a $14.1 million contract to build an ultra-high frequency phased array radar in the Indo-Pacific region to provide space domain awareness of objects in low Earth orbit (LEO). The award includes government funds as part of a $60 million Strategic Funding Increase (STRATFI) opportunity that LeoLabs announced in March with the Space Force’s SpaceWERX innovation arm to deploy a larger version of its fixed-site, Seeker 3D pulse doppler direct…
