The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center's (AFLCMC) Electronic Systems Directorate at Hanscom AFB, Mass., has advised the provision of a five-year, more than $29 million sole source contract to General Atomics' North Point Defense (NPD) in Rome, N.Y., to support the company's Archer signals intelligence system for the U.S. Atmospheric Early Warning System (AEWS) and the U.S.-Canadian North Warning System (NWS).
