Smiths Detection Expanding Maryland Production Facility

Smiths Detection is expanding its production facility in Edgewood, Md., to accommodate full production of its JCAD Lightweight Chemical Detectors and introduce production of its multiview HI-SCAN 6040 aTiX Advanced Technology X-Ray system that is currently built in Germany. The Edgewood facility currently does final packaging of the JCAD detectors.
