SiAW Test Missile Delivered to USAF, Northrop Grumman Says

Northrop Grumman [NOC] said on Monday that it has delivered to the U.S. Air Force a Stand-in Attack Weapon (SiAW) test missile "to verify that the launch aircraft can safely carry and separate the weapon." In September last year, the company said that it had received a $705 million contract for SiAW development, integration, and rapid prototyping to start fielding the missile by 2026 (Defense Daily, Sept. 25, 2023).
