Shield AI on Wednesday announced Gary Steele as its new CEO beginning in May, charging him with helping the startup transition to an established company. Steele’s has more than 30 years of experience with technology companies, including founding and serving as CEO for 19 years of the cybersecurity and compliance firm Proofpoint until departing in 2022.
