Serco, Inc., has received a potential $190 million contract from the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) agency within the Department of Homeland Security to provide record processing for the adjudication of immigration benefits. The contract has a base year and four one-year options. The win was a recompete of an existing contract. The value of the award for the base year is $39 million. Serco will provide records management services at the USCIS National Benefits Center in Missouri, including file operations, records distribution management, business process improvement support, automated system transactions, and system update functions. “Through a longstanding relationship with USCIS, Serco continues to provide expertise in records management services, and we are honored to have another opportunity to support the DHS,” says Ed Casey, chairman and CEO of Serco, Inc., which is the U.S.-based operation of Britain’s Serco Group.
