Senate to Debate Defense Appropriations Next Week

The Senate on Wednesday put a bill to the floor that includes several fiscal year 2019 budgets, including defense, as the committee hopes to bring the legislation up for a vote as early as next week.The so-called “minibus” H.R. 6157 includes two FY‘19 appropriations measures, the Department of Defense bill and the Labor, Health and Human Services, Education, and Related Agencies  bill.
