Savi to Monitor Cargo for Western Digital in Thailand

Savi Technologies says that hard drive manufacturer Western Digital has extended for another year its contract for wireless monitoring of its cargo shipments by truck in Thailand. Savi, a unit of Lockheed Martin [LMT], says its SaviTrak service monitors the location and security of shipments locked with electronic seals as they are transported within a Free Trade Zone and automatically communicates status information to Royal Thai Customs authorities.
