Raytheon Wins $54 Million Australian Contract For ELCAN Weapon Sight For Land Forces Use

Australia’s Department of Defence awarded Raytheon [RTN] a $54 million contract to supply the ELCAN Specter DR 1-4x dual role weapon sight, the company said Tuesday.The ELCAN Specter is set to replace the ADF standard 1.5x magnified sight on the new Enhanced F88 rifle in Australia’s Land 125 Phase 3C program.
