Qualcomm Asset Management Service Certified by DoD

The Military Surface Deployment and Distribution Command has given Qualcomm Inc.'s [QCOM] Untethered Asset Management Service Defense Transportation Tracking System (DTTS) II certification, qualifying the company's customers to transport DoD sensitive and other DTTS-monitored shipments. Qualcomm says that DoD is mandating that satellite tracking service providers support greater in-transit visibility for commercial carries transporting ammunition, arms and explosives and other sensitive materials shipments.
