Tsai Elected to Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) National Board of Direction

IBTS’ Director of Federal Services Programs Christine Tsai elected to national SAME leadership position.

ASHBURN, Va., May 27, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ — IBTS is excited to announce that its Federal Services Program Director Christine Tsai was recently elected to the Society of American Military Engineers’ (SAME) National Board of Direction. Voted on by SAME members this spring, Tsai was sworn in during the 2019 Joint Engineer Training Conference & Expo (JETC) in Tampa in May.

SAME is a nonprofit professional engineer association with a mission to promote and facilitate engineering support for national security by developing and enhancing relationships and competencies among uniformed services, public and private sector engineers, and related professionals. The organization has over 28,000 members and about 105 posts located throughout the United States and overseas.

Tsai was named one of 12 Elected Directors on the 47-member Board of Direction. Tsai also currently serves as an Assistant Program Director of the SAME Northern Virginia Post and has previously served as their Deputy Program Director and as Post President for the Hampton Roads Virginia Post. She received the SAME Regional Vice President’s Medal for her outstanding service to the Society and is also a SAME Fellow.

In her nearly 30-year career, Tsai has served in various technical and managerial positions in a number of large, nationally and internationally ranked engineering and consulting firms. At IBTS, she is responsible for providing strategic guidance and thought leadership to create value to public sector clients and differentiate IBTS by offering innovative and effective services.
