As a recognized expert in regulations related to the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS), U.S. export controls and other regulatory efforts related to cyber and supply chain security, Ricardel will advise clients on strategies to help them expand their business while managing risk.

Ricardel has extensive experience in both the public and private sectors serving in some of the most senior and sensitive positions. She brings deep expertise where technology and national security intersect. From 2016 – 2018, she held presidential appointments at the Department of Commerce and The White House. While at The White House, she served as Assistant to the President and Deputy National Security Advisor. Prior to that, she served as the Undersecretary of Commerce for Export Administration, leading the Bureau of Industry and Security where she played a leadership role in the development of regulations related to the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS), U.S. export controls and supply chain security policies. Ricardel also has nearly a decade of aerospace industry experience, serving as a Vice President at The Boeing Company where she was focused on business development in the areas of missile defense, satellites, cyber and advanced technology. From 2001-2005, Ricardel held senior policy positions within the Office of the Secretary Defense at the Pentagon.
