SOUTHFIELD, Mich., May 2, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ — Honeywell presented The Chemico Group with the prestigious “Innovation Award” during its Global Supplier Summit on April 24. Chemico was one of only four organizations to be recognized at this event. The Innovation Award was presented to Chemico for its innovative solutions in chemical management and for undertaking productivity improvement projects that reduce Honeywell’s total cost of operations.

“Honeywell works with more than 65,000 suppliers,” notes Chemico President and CEO Leon C. Richardson. “To be recognized among only four of these suppliers is truly gratifying.”

Chemico has been delivering chemical lifecycle management and chemical distribution services to Honeywell since 2011. This is the first time it has been recognized with the Innovation Award.

“It’s an honor and a pleasure to work with an organization like Honeywell, which is inventing and manufacturing technologies that impact the lives of so many people around the world,” Richardson says. “We look forward to our continued partnership.”
