Parsons Corp. recently said it has completed its $350 million purchase of the systems engineering and services firm SPARTA from Britain’s Cobham, giving it a big boost to its advanced technology and professional services portfolio.
Parsons said that SPARTA will be integrated into Parsons Government Services, a provider of mission-critical technical services to the United States government.
“Integrating SPARTA’s team with Parsons’ will give us a deeper presence within the defense, homeland security, and intelligence markets, while providing our new colleagues from SPARTA with the resources, management support, and access to additional customers needed to grow our shared business,” Chuck Harrington, chairman and CEO of Parsons, said in a statement.
