MDA Looks To Add Competition To SM-3 IIAs in RFI

MDA is looking at possibly adding competition to production and delivery of its Standard Missile-3 Block IIA missile interceptor, according to a new Request For Information (RFI). A March 10 RFI said this RFI is meant to conduct market research to investigate “industry interest and capability” for production of SM-3 IIAs including production control and operations support, cost management, and quality assurance.
