Lockheed Martin Creates Subsidiary Focused On Secure AI Solutions For Defense, Commercial Sectors

Building on investments made in generative artificial intelligence to strengthen its own operations, Lockheed Martin [LMT] on Monday launched a new business aimed at helping other companies in the defense and commercial sectors adopt AI solutions that require their data and information be secure. Astris AI’s tools include Lockheed Martin AI Factory machine learning operations and its GenAI software platforms “built with the security and compliance required for entities operating in highly regulated environments,” the company said.
