L3Harris Technologies [LHX] this week is unveiling a new ground vehicle prototype, called Diamondback, intended to fill an Army capability gap for autonomous reconnaissance and security missions, with an aim to conduct initial demonstrations of the platform in the first half of 2025.  Hugh McFadden, L3Harris’ director of strategic programs, told Defense Daily the company is showcasing Diamondback at the Association of the United States Army’s (AUSA) conference in Washington, D.C. to begin gathering feedback on the platform, which he…
