L-3 Completes Acquisition Of Australian Defense Electronics Company Micreo

L-3 Communications [LLL] on Oct. 3 said it has complete its acquisition of Australian defense company Micreo Limited in a deal that expands its business in Australia and complements its capabilities in sensors.Terms of the deal, which closed on Sept. 30, were not disclosed. Micreo has about 70 employees and is expected to have $27 million in sales and be accretive to L-3’s earnings in 2017.L-3 Micreo designs and produces RF and photonic products for radar and electronic warfare.
