Krauss-Maffei Wegmann GmbH To Provide LEGUAN Bridge Layers On Leopard 2 Chassis

This summer, Krauss-Maffei Wegmann (KMW) signed a potential $44 million contract with Swedish procurement authorities to procure three LEGUAN bridge layers on Leopard 2 chassis. The contract includes peripheral services and training equipment as well as an option for further vehicles. KMW also develops, produces and supports the Leopard 2 main battle tank. Sweden is now among the 15 nations that use the LEGUAN system, and is one of the three countries which have introduced the system with the Leopard…
