Raytheon[ RTN], Boeing [BA], and Talley Defense would benefit from three separate potential Foreign Military Sales to Israel of Patriot Missile Fire Unit Upgrades, GBU-39 Small Diameter Bombs, and M72A7 Light Anti-Armor Weapons (LAAWs).

The Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) yesterday notified Congress that Israel requested a possible sale with a total value of $164 million of three Patriot System Configuration 3 Modification kits to upgrade three Patriot fire units to the Radar Enhancement Phase 3, and Classification, Discrimination and Identification Phase 3. The potential sale would also include spares and repair parts, communication support equipment, tools and test equipment, government and contractor technical assistance and other logistics and support.

Raytheon would be the prime contractor.

Separately Israel requests the possible sale with a total value of $77 million of 1,000 GBU-39 Small Diameter Bombs (SDB1), 150 BRU-61/A SDB1 mounting carriages, 30 guided test vehicles, two BRU-61/A SDB instrumented carriages, seven jettison test vehicles, one separation test vehicle, two reliability and assessment vehicles, 12 common munitions BIT and reprogramming equipment with test equipment and adapters, three SDB1 weapons simulators and two load crew trainers. The request includes other personnel and logistics support.

The principal contractor would be Boeing.

Israel also requests the possible sale with a potential total value of $89 million of 28,000 M72A7 66mm Light Anti-Armor Weapons (LAAWS), 60,000 M72AS 21mm sub caliber training rockets, personnel and logistics support.

Talley Defense would be the principal contractor.
