Innometriks Reader Approved by TSA for TWIC Pilots

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has approved the Innometriks Rhino for use in upcoming pilot tests of biometric-enabled smart card readers under the Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) program. The Rhino features a multispectral fingerprint reader from Lumidigm. The Rhino uses a HID smart card reader, a 3.5 inch color LCD, and a vandal-proof keypad to provide an outdoor fingerprint biometric reader that works in all weather conditions.
