HII Mulls Alternatives To Shuttering Avondale

Huntington Ingalls Industries [HII] is exploring the possibility of converting its Avondale shipyard into a manufacturing plant for products in the oil and gas sector, but for the time being is sticking with plans to close the Louisiana facility, according to CEO and President Michael Petters.
