George: Army To Keep Moving ‘Faster’ On Modernization Priorities With Potential FY ‘27 Spending Boost

The Army’s top uniformed official said Tuesday the service, with a potential defense spending boost in fiscal year 2027, would look to maintain its modernization priorities while using increased funds to further speed up its pace in delivering new capabilities.  “A lot of the things that we’ve been talking about very publicly [are] how we would spend the additional topline if [the] decision is made to do that.
