GD, Northrop Grumman’s Alliant Techsystems To Compete For $1.85 Billion Army Ammunitions Work

General Dynamics’ [GD] ordnance and tactical systems division and Northrop Grumman’s [NOC] Alliant Techsystems Operations have been selected to compete for $1.85 billion in potential Army ammunitions deals, the Pentagon said on Thursday.The two contracts will both have the opportunity to compete for opportunities to supply the Army with 20mm, 25mm, 30x113mm and 30x173mm medium caliber ammunition.  Northrop Grumman and GD Ordnance and were the only two industry partners to submit bids for the work.Work on the the $1.85 billion in…
