The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has selected General Dynamics [GD], Lockheed Martin [LMT] and Northrop Grumman [NOC] to compete for work under a potential $600 million indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract to provide specialized security training for agency personnel, the agency says.

The training services include security screening, fire arms training, inspector, perimeter security, interviewing techniques, fraudulent document identification, and others.

“The contractors will be required to provide training solutions and services, which will lead to optimized use of resources, throughput and successful training outcomes for a geographically dispersed and varying workforce,” TSA said in its original synopsis outlining the procurement.

The contract is for five years.
