Franchetti Argues NAVPLAN 2024 Stretch Goals Are ‘Realistic’

Chief of Naval Operations Adm. Lisa Franchetti said the goals she is pushing the Navy to achieve by 2027 in her recently released Navigation Plan (NAVPLAN) 2024 are realistic, even if they are stretch goals that may be difficult amid budget constraints. Franchetti defended how achievable her plan is a day after it was published during a Thursday event at the Center for Strategic and International Studies.
