AE Industrial Partners, (AEI) a private equity firm dealing in the aerospace, defense and government services markets, announced June 1 that it will form a new space-focused platform following two recent acquisitions. The firm recently acquired Deep Space Systems, formerly of Littleton, Colo., which develops integrated spacecraft, fully qualified payloads, data acquisition, embedded software and more.
