Elbit Wins $78 Million Contract To Provide UAS-Based Intelligence System To European Client

Elbit Systems [ESLT] was awarded a contract worth about $78 million to supply an unnamed European country with an Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS)-based intelligence system, the company said Sunday.The contract is to be performed over two years by the company’s ISTAR Division, which was established within the past year by combining Elbit’s Electro-optics and UAS Divisions.The Elbit service includes the Advanced Multi-Sensor Payload System (AMPS), a multi-sensor electro-optics system capable of long-range visual intelligence for day and night, the company…
