The Pentagon’s top weapons buyer on Monday said the department’s new acquisition reform push aims to bring in “as much competition as we can,” emphasizing the new “commercial-first” approach to contracting may lead to a boost for new defense industry entrants.  “Where there are new entrants or privately-funded startups that are showing interest in doing business with the department, we want to do what we can to ensure that we give them every opportunity to improve their ability to compete…
