The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) is seeking proposals for technology demonstrations as part of its Coalition Warfare Interoperability Demonstration 2011 (CWID 2011) that is slated to take place next May and June. A primary focus area for CWID 2011 and U.S. Central Command is the exploration of technologies and processes that work towards the establishment of a federated multi-national information sharing network environment similar to NATO’s Afghanistan Mission Network construct. Even though the mission partner’s federated infrastructure will be operating within a bandwidth-constrained environment due to its heavy reliance on satellite communications, they will be connected using a common set of standards unrestricted by firewalls or guards. Sol. No. CWID2011. Respond by July 23. Contact: Carla Jolly, 703-882-1249, [email protected].
