DoD Puts Forth ‘Strategic Ways’ To Counter Unmanned Systems In New Strategy

A new Defense Department strategy to counter the current and evolving threats from drones and other unmanned systems to U.S. forces and installations abroad and domestically lays out five paths to mitigate threats from these systems, including assessing how these capabilities will be part of future joint force design, and ensuring that countering these systems is a routine part of warfighting, the department said on Thursday.
