The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Science and Technology (S&T) branch, Borders and Maritime Security Division, has released a Request for Information (RFI) on the availability and maturity of existing radio frequency sensor technologies for through-the-wall detection of humans or human activity. The technology sought is expected to be part of a system that will consist of any necessary sensor devices, communications and processing hardware/software, and the capability to display the detection information on a stand- alone computer or integrate it with an existing graphical user interface.
