OSI Systems Takes in $42 Million in Awards

OSI Systems [OSIS] has received more than $42 million in recent contracts, including a $15 million order from a global logistics provider to provide multiple units of its RTT 110 computed tomography-based explosive detection system for use in screening air cargo. The company says the order demonstrates continued interest in the RTT110 for air cargo security. The company’s Rapiscan Systems division also received a $12 million order to provide operation and maintenance services for its previously deployed inspection systems used for workplace safety and critical infrastructure protection. The customers for the two orders were not disclosed. Rapiscan also received a $12.3 million fixed-price Foreign Military Sales contract from the Army to provide logistics support services for M60 high-energy mobile scanning vehicle systems used by Iraq. The work is expected to be completed by Nov. 30. The FMS announcement was made in the Dec. 31, 2019 Defense Department contract award notices.
