Coast Guard Surveys Market for Handheld Biometrics Collection Devices

The Coast Guard Research and Development Center is conducting market research for sources capable of providing handheld biometrics collection devices for use by Coast Guard boarding teams in their mission. The device must be able to acquire 10 fingerprints and facial images of persons encountered at sea aboard vessels ranging from 87-feet to 378-feet and on the decks of commercial freighters. Sol.
