CACI International [CACI] on Thursday said it has received a potential $1.5 billion contract from the National Geospatial-Agency (NGA) to provide transport and cyber security services.
The single-award indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract, the largest in the company’s history, has a five-year base period and five one-year options. The company said the win represents new business for it and significantly expands its work with the agency.
CACI network and cyber security experts will be located at NGAs headquarters and facilities in Virginia and Missouri, and globally, to help design, engineer, procure, operate, sustain and enhance the agency’s networks and cyber security posture. The company also said it will develop a service and material catalog for NGA to help it streamline the acquisition of information technology services from weeks to days for streamlined customer support.
“This record award demonstrates CACI is delivering on its strategy to win larger, more enduring contracts,” John Mengucci, CACI’s president and CEO, said in a statement.
The NGA, which is part of the Defense Department, delivers geospatial intelligence to warfighters, the intelligence community, first responders and policy makers.
